HIGH TOE WEIGHTING
The adjustable, expertly designed High Toe Weighting works to position the CG in-line with open face shots, delivering greater impact consistency and fine-tuned forgiveness.
PRECISION WEIGHTING TECHNOLOGY
The PXG 0311 Sugar Daddy II design introduces swing weight adjustability to the PXG Wedge fitting experience. The large weight, located near the CG on the back of the clubhead, can be adjusted in 2-gram increments during a fitting to allow golfers to experience various head weight configurations and achieve optimal personalized performance. Weighting is not intended to be adjusted after purchase.
100% CNC MILLED
The CNC milling process ensures every line, curve and angle are produced to exacting specifications for consistent performance today, and when it's time to refresh your set. Triple forged 8620 soft carbon steel is used to fabricate PXG’s 100% Milled Wedges. The material helps to prolong the life of the grooves and enhances the appearance of the club over time.
XTREME DARK FINISH
PXG’s stunning Xtreme Dark irons and wedges are created using an advanced process called Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. DLC creates a hard, graphite-like, carbon-based coating that significantly extends the reasonable lifetime of our Xtreme Dark finish. Unlike the typical black PVD used by other equipment manufactures DLC is a three-layer process that includes a chromium base, a carbon-chromium mid layer, a high-carbon top layer that is approximately 3/25,000 of an inch thick. This produces extraordinary wear resistance and a flawless look without influencing club performance relative to how the ball reacts.
FULL FACE GROOVES
Full Face Grooves support an expanded hitting area, with precision milled grooves extended to the face perimeter. The enlarged impact region supports consistent ball contact on shots played toward the toe side of the face and confidence at address.

XCOR2 TECHNOLOGY
A result of years of research and development, XCOR2 is PXG’s revolutionary polymer core material. Extremely lightweight, XCOR2 helps reduce the mass of the core. This enables more weight to be positioned low and to the perimeter of the backside of the clubhead, dramatically increasing MOI and forgiveness. Combined with our ultra-thin face technology, XCOR2 enhances the C.O.R. for extreme face deflection and out of sight ball speed.
PROGRESSIVE SET DESIGN
The clubs feature progressive offset, blade length and bounce for an ideal blend of accuracy and distance across the irons set. The ideal amount of offset is influenced by the blade length. The longer the blade length, the greater the offset, which works to help golfers deliver the clubhead square at impact. The amount of bounce required for the clubhead to enter the turf and glide through the grass without digging varies by club length. Low lofted clubs (4,5,6) have less bounce than the high lofted clubs (G,S,L).
POWER CHANNEL TECHNOLOGY
Power Channel Technology is the proprietary U-shaped corridor built into the internal surface of the face to increase deflection and bend in the top sector. The channel creates face movement and transfers energy to simultaneously increases launch angle, trajectory, and ball speed.
ANGLED TOP RAIL
The upper surface of the clubhead has been angled away from the face, removing mass from the heel and repositioning it toward the toe. This helps position the CG very close to the center of the face for higher MOI, more forgiveness, and excellent consistency.
ULTRA-THIN FACE
The clubface is made from an HT 1770 maraging stainless steel using a cold roll manufacturing process combined with an aged heat treatment method. This produces an extremely tight grain structure and higher-strength performance than what can be achieved through the traditional forging process. This advanced material and process is one of the attributes that enables PXG to deliver the thinnest clubface in golf, measuring a mere 0.058" (~1.55mm) thick.
XTREME DARK
PXG’s stunning Xtreme Dark irons are created using an advanced process called Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coating. DLC creates a hard, graphite-like, carbon-based coating that significantly extends the reasonable lifetime of our irons and wedges. Unlike the typical black PVD used by other equipment manufacturers, DLC is a three-layer process that includes a chromium base, a carbon-chromium mid layer, and a high-carbon top layer that is approximately 3/25,000 of an inch thick. This produces extraordinary wear resistance and a flawless look without influencing club performance relative to how the ball reacts.
The DLC coating is currently used in fuel injection systems and drilling and has a number of other promising applications for its superior abrasion resistance. PXG’s Xtreme Dark finish is the first application of black DLC coating technology in golf.
ROBOTIC POLISHING TECHNOLOGY
0211 XCOR2 Irons undergo a precision robotic polishing and laser welding process. Robotic polishing creates an extremely precise manufacturing process that supports consistent sole and face perimeter geometry with every club. Robotic laser welding the face around the outer perimeter of each club reduces the heat affected zone and provides a high strength and precise attachment method.

OFFSET
Longer blades feature more offset, allowing for greater forgiveness as the face squares easier at impact.
SOLE WIDTH
The wider the sole, the deeper the center of gravity (CG) in the club, which creates a more dynamic loft and higher launch. A wider sole increases the playable bounce, making it less likely to dig into the turf.
BLADE LENGTH
While a smaller head size allows for greater workability, forgiveness increases with a longer blade length.
